everybody limbo

Well, our plot to buy lemon curd and ride on a double decker bus to the Tower of London has been foiled. Still not sure what our plans are, but it doesn’t look like they will include London. Will update as soon as we know something, anything. “I think you better turn on CNN,” emailed Amy from Beijing. Thanks for letting me know something was up, Amy!

Update: We will catch the Paris to Niamey flight we were suppose to be on on the 15th. We leave here on the 14th at 6:45, business class to Paris.

I thought about you guys this morning when I heard the news. I’m glad you’re not flying today. Sounds like you’re having fun in D.C. Love reading your posts!

Ouch! not the best time to fly to U.K. That’s too bad.
The 14th is coming right up – have a great trip. Business Class will ease the pain. Last time Cody and Yuko flew from Geneva BC, Cody asked Yuko to take him back to Coach because the play stations were too far away — too much leg room. Of course Yuko told him to suffer.
Cody and I leave Mito on vacation in a few hours. I’ll be playing bg music at an onsen (hot spring spa) in Kinugawa on the 14th, so away from home, but I’ll check on you at my friend’s place in Kanuma (if you remember I used to live there 12 years ago) where Cody and I will stay for a few days.
I can’t wait to hear about your new adventures. None of my friends here knew there was a country Niger. Nigeria? they all said. Nope.
    Take care and safe flying.
