20

Were you there twenty years ago today? Will I regret as deeply what I am wearing today as I regret the styles of the eighties?

See those two little girls in green velvet? Those are these two. The older one is now a mother, to Tyler, age three weeks.

Oh well, I figure there are a lot of people who had gorgeous wedding photography during stylistically non-embarrasing times but has their marriage been as happy? Well, maybe yes, but say no. It was a fun day, a gorgeous sunny November day in normally dreary, rainy Humboldt country, California, and it’s been the same ever since.

Are you kidding Dina? you look marvelous! Peter looks a couple years older then Abe. I was somewhere there, maybe it was just for the reception? don’t remember the wedding.

Wow, so young looking. Nice couple! Who would have thought that you’d be now in Niger!
BTW, I just checked out the UN Human Development stats: Canada is #4 – hooray! But Niger? also #4 – but, unfortunately from the other end of the scale. It looks simply miserable there, with high illiteracy, etc. Japan is number 8 – hope you get here!
    See you soon.
ps. Yuko says when are our ningyo coming. You have to study your Japanese – Ningyo means doll(s) here in Japan.

OK so you had a little Demi Moore goin’ on, but still you looked (and look) fabulous. Quite a beautiful bride and groom. And look at those guests! It makes me a little homesick for Arcata in 1987!
