Being a New Yorker, now — I envy him! Lol Great foto!
Just this morning, I was wishing I could go for a long drive… I find I miss (Home) Pacific Northwest most — at this time of year. We plan take a 10 hr train ride up to Canada next month though to enjoy the change of seasons. And too, there’s a lot to be said for walking this great city of ours! Plus, we’re only 5 blocks from Central Park. But I desperately miss being able to go out back and clip whatever happens to be growing and tossing em’ into a vase…
While I don’t miss all the work that goes along with living in a house, I do miss accessorizing one ; ) Our shoebox size apt simply can’t take much!
Trade-off’s, eh?
What do you miss so far?
–Sorry for the lengthy postLikeLike

The only problem with a short commute is it takes just a minute to get home, but you’re so close that everyone feels it’s quite all right to except you to be always available at work. But I’m sure you’ll handle that well!

So this sour cream display… is it just dozens and dozens of identical containers labeled CMETAHA, or are there different kinds? If so, how do they vary? Size? Fat content? Flavoring? With and without herring?
More importantly, what do the displays of vodka look like?
Dina – are you planning on taking any RSL classes (RSL = Russian as a Second Language)?LikeLike

Peter you lucky dog! Life in DC is too fast paced, rush the kids to breakfast, rush the kids to day care, rush to get to work before the traffic gets any worse, rush back home before the traffic gets worse, rush the kids to home/soccer/whatever, eat dinner, take bath, read story & everybody in bed ~ what happened to the day???

Now that is some great commute and with our gas prices here at home in the US, that is a great benie. There is the drawback that you are always within reach on your off hours.

Peter, how typically American, always looking for the ‘short cut’. Those two extra minutes might be the difference in a suit size by the end of the year. Or maybe it’s just prudent to stay outside as little as possible in the coming months. It’s drizzling today, September ended with beautiful 80 degree days. Ciao
