We started off with French champagne and ended with making gingerbread houses. I now have a gingerbread floor. Hope yours was insane as well. More photos here on facebook.

Okay, I have to admit I haven’t been a very good sister. This is the first time I’ve looked at your blog since Niger. No excuses except that I don’t particularly like the computer and by the time I get home from school that’s the last thing I want to do. Anyway, I didn’t want you (Dina) to think that I forgot your birthday. Hope you have a happy one! We are really looking foward to seeing all of your for Christmas. My life is in shambles right now because the floors in the dining room and family room are being pulled up (carpet) and replaced with hardwoods. The dining room is done and looks beautiful but I came home to the family room totally torn apart and not sure how I’m going to make dinner. Oh well, an excuse to eat out. So other than that our life goes on as usual. Everyone healthy, thank goodness. I’m looking foward to the end of this semester in a couple of weeks. We will be off to New Orleans and the Caribbean with our dance group on 1-3. We’ll catch up at Christmas. Love to all. Carol and Steve
