camille’s new post: sdsu

Spent today walking around the SDSU campus with Camille finding all the buildings her classes are in. I can't get over how beautiful the campus is. Classic California architecture represents every era: red-tiled Mission-style courtyards with mosaic fountains, mid-century modern, glass and metal contemporary with terraces over looking San Diego's mesas and canyons. Beautifully-groomed succulents line the paths, flowers spill out of planters, white walls and a vivid blue sky dazzle in the hot sun.

The parking lot is pretty standard though, and that's where I sit in the car and cry.

I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for you and the rest of your family. This is a big move and transition. Bittersweet!

Hi there! I’m a senior at Ohio State U this year, gearing up for my second attempt at the FSOT, I’ve loved reading through your blog, and I’m sure Camille will be fine, San Diego is an amazing city!
