Sometimes we fall into a writers block. I fear the blog might sound repetitive and perhaps a bit boring. But our readers remind us that they are waiting. Thank you Clay!

Don’t worry about hibernating at home. Moscow winters are condusive to coocooning, I’ve heard. Spring will have you out and about. I’m so glad to hear you’re living in a safe environment. Smooches.

Don’t worry about being repetitive. Your blog always brightens my day and I get bummed when there isn’t a new update ever couple of days or so. I miss being overseas and hope this tour here in DC ends soon!

Love to read your blog as well, but no pressures, I know how it is at times we get so busy. I really like one of John Muir’s quotes; not sure how it went exactly but it was something like getting out was like coming in for him. Getting out is good. I need to do a blog too, and I have a hard time even getting started! My first step is face book (I call it my face).

Hi guys,
nice to see you back here. I know you are spending too much time on facebook, as we all are.
But if you are getting into a comfortable routine, that’s a good sign that you won’t flip out from culture shock.
BTW, Dick Day (Richard C.) has a lovely new book of stories out: “Something for the Journey.” It’s really good.LikeLike

Oh yes, get out and walk. That’s the way to get to know a city, especially one as amazing and suprising as Moscow. It’s always especially fun to discover above ground how the metro stations join up!
