"Quail eggs contain vitamins and minerals essential for good health," says the box. I adore the presumed knowledge of basic chemistry for the nutrition label.

Oh QUAIL eggs – I thought they were gonna be these candies we had when I was a kid that look like stones but are a hard candy shell on the outside and I think they were chocolate inside – kind of like rock M and Ms.

Beautiful eggs. I thought they’d be chocolate too.

They’re lovely. I would adore displaying them for Easter brunch.

We had quail eggs with raclette the other night. They are cute, cute, cute but surprisingly tough to open. I had quail egg squirt all over the kitchen table.
